Our last posting day will be Monday 21st December.  The shop will be open as normal Tuesday and Wednesday next week, 12 till 6pm.  Thursday will be slightly different - 9am to 3pm.  We will then remain closed until Tuesday 29th December.  We will be closed on New Years Day.

21st October update. We have just took in an ITHACA 10 B0RE 3 SHOT SEMI AUTO 3.5" CHAMBER in good working order and condition for age of this Wildfowling gun .

8th October update. I would like to thank all our customers new and old for supporting us at the Midland Game Fair - it was our best ever.   Sorry for slight delay with the update but we have been inundated with orders over last few weeks and also with re-stocking our shop with shooting related clothing, cartridges, accessories and fishing tackle. 

9th September update   The MIDLAND GAME FAIR is getting nearer.  Do come and vist our stand on  Gunmakers  Row  at A26 - as you come down the tarmac road through the Lichfield Entrance you will see the Cabrin Sporting Supplies Stand right on the corner facing you.  We will have Guns and Cartridges on display plus  a vast range of decoys, shooting accessories, gun care products and quality clothing  and tweeds etc.

13th August update We have just taken delivery of Winchester drylock steel 20 gauge 76mm shot size 1 s   1oz load.

1st August update.  We will be listing the Kenco Life Timer II game feeder after trialling this feeder system from July 2008 on our flight ponds up till the end of Febuary this year,  as we always feed inland for an extra month after  the season ends.   I have just got the feeders out of the store shed, connected the batterys and all is working well - a fantastic piece of kit I can definitely recommend.   Cabrin will be offering the feeder system FOR £42.00 . 

30th July update.  All at Cabrin would like to thank all our customer that visited our stand at the CLA GAME FAIR gun  and cartridge sales where up this year also our accessories sold well to, We have had a busy week after returning on Monday we have been sorting out orders we have also had a delivery of cartridge for the start of the shooting season from VICTORY , WINCHESTER , and CLEVER .

20th July update. As the CLA GAME FAIR is fast approaching  we hope to see old  and new customers at the fair.   If you get chance please come and  visit our stand  - G798 - where we will have lots of  shooting and gun related accessories.  We will also have a number of new lines of clothing and the new Pinkfoot and Greylag Decoys from Flambeau.  For airgun enthusiasts we will be carrying a selection of custom parts for Crosman pistols, i.e. silencer adaptors, power adjusters, muzzel flips and 4 seal kits, and for the Webley Raider and FX2000 service kits and brass bolts.

30th June update. Just finished loading our vans ready for the Scone Palace Game Fair.   It will be good to see you all again we do enjoy this game fair.  We have many new products this year including the all New Flambeau Decoy range eg Pinkfoot and Greylag for land and water and some more gun related products and clothing .STAND No G72.

25th june update   We at Cabrin have just took delivery of new products ready for the Scottish Game Fair at Scone Palace, Perth.  Our stand number is G72.  We have just received confirmation of our stand number for the CLA - G798 (Gunmakers Row).

15th june update.We have just taken delivery of the all new Pinkfoot and Greylag Goose decoys in shells and floaters also Wigeon duck decoys all produced by Flambeau . 

10th June update   Flambeau have emailed us  with our first  delivery date for consigment of the new Pinkfoot and Greylag shell decoys and same in floating with detatchable keel and widgeon decoys as well.  Also more duck and goose calls to add to our already extensive range of  calls.  The date is 17th June.

2nd MAY update   We at Cabrin are starting to load the vans for next weekends BASC Game Fair at Cardross on the 9th & 10th of this month.  We have just taken delivery of some new products and clothing from Deerhunter, Pro Shot , Garlands, Flambeau and Beaver.  We will be listing  them on our website over the next ten days and taking some to Cardross as well .

1ST MAY  Update  The  first shipment of  the Pinkfoot Goose decoys from Flambeau is due in at the end of may just in time for the Welsh Game fair , also the Greylag and Wigeon decoys will be on the same shipment ,  We have over 300 of the Pinkfoot shell decoys ordered  alone  - the response  from our customers has been fantastic for these long awaited Pinkfoot  and Wigeon decoys.

24TH  APRIL We have just received a delivery of the new Victory 24gm clay pigeon shooting loads felt wad  £135.00 per 1,000  - collect only  - bring  your shotgun certificate .

21st March  We have just taken delivery of the New 12 gauge 21gm Victory Cartridge Company Clay Pigeon Shooting Load  plastic wad.  They are  priced at  £120.00 Per 1,000  -  pick up only - and sold Face to Face.   All buyers must have a current up to date Shotgun Certificate.

16th March . We have just received order confirmation of our next shipment of the new Flambeau Plnkfoot and Greylag Coose Decoys that have been produced in the new  UV paint system.  They come in shell form with detachable heads and full bodied with detachable heads and weighted keels.  The UK widfowler has been waiting a long time for this type of decoy and we at Cabrin Sporting Supplies must thank Kevin from Tidepool Wildfowling for painting the original Plnkfoot decoy for Flambeau to copy.  Thanks also to Andrew Walker from Flambeau for getting this decoy in production.  I have had several conversations with Andrew about the decoys and other items over the last few months and now they have given us an approximate date for delivery - mid to late May.  There will also be a new European Wldgeon decoy UV painted with a weighted keel.

 We at Cabrin Sporting Supplies both live and run our business from Hambleton, Lancashire, which is in an area known as Over Wyre and is situated on the southern end of Morecambe Bay.  My good friend Barry and I have over 30 years experience of flighting geese and ducks inland at Pilling Moss, the surrounding marshes and on the River Wyre estuary  and we are both looking forward with anticipation to using the new pinkfoot  and widgeon decoys this coming season.

NEW SHOP -   Opened on Saturday 1st November  2008.  We will stock a wide range of shooting accessories, wildfowling equipment and quality outdoor and shooting  clothing for men, women and children.  We will also sell shotgun cartridges.  There will not be any guns or rifle ammunition there.

It is located at Bank View, Shard Lane, Hambleton,(next to the Spar Shop at Hambleton Service Station) postcode FY6 9BX.  Please do not park up to the shop - there is a large car park to the left of the building.

Opening times will be Tuesday to Friday 12pm to 6pm with probably a late night opening on Thursdays till 7 or 8pm.  Saturdays 9am to 5pm and Sundays 10am till 3pm.

New!  Just arrived back from the CLA Game Fair and would like to thank everyone who visited our stand over the three days.  It was a fantastic Game Fair for us, despite the heat, with sales in all areas of accessories and clothing  well up on previous years.  We were also very pleased with the decoy sales, especially the Flambeau UV Classic Mallard.  It justified having the extra stock with us!

CLA Game Fair .   Our stand number R1641.   On the FRIDAY we will have some SPECIAL OFFERS ON FLAMBEAU and SPORTPLAST DECOYS and on TRAPS, FEEDER SPRINGS ETC.  We will be desplaying our usual range of DEERHUNTER CLOTHING and extensive range of gun related and shooting accessories.  This year we will also have a good range of second hand shotguns, air rifles and some shotgun ammunition .

30th June - Great News!!!  Mick Nicholson and the rest of the England Team have done us proud and brought home the GOLD MEDALS!!!  Well done lads!

Cath's son is Mick Nicholson, one of the top shots in Sporting Claying Shooting in the country for a number of years now, and he has just won a place on the 5 Man World Team representing England next weekend at RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk.  May we take this opportunity to wish him and his team mates all the best in the competition and let's hope they can bring back some medals!
